Aryan Khan Drug Case: NCB Witness Prabhakar Sail Passes Away Of Heart Attack, Lawyer Says Family Does Not Suspect Foul Play
The Cordelia Cruise Ship drugs case in which Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan was arrested in October 2021, has witnessed yet another shocking development. Prabhakar Sail, an independent witness of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the drugs-on-cruise case, died of a heart attack at his residence in Mumbai.

A Press Trust of India report quoted a police official saying, "Prabhakar Sail, 37, died of a heart attack at his house in Mahul (Chembur) on Friday evening." He was taken to the civic-run Rajawadi Hospital in Mumbai's Ghatkopar, where he was declared 'brought dead', he said.

Prabhakar Sail was NCB's Panch witness in the drugs on cruise ship case where Aryan was arrested with his friend Arbaaz Merchant last year in October. Prabhakar's lawyer confirmed the news and has claimed that he died of a heart attack on Friday and asserted that his family members do not suspect any foul play.

ANI tweeted, "Mumbai | NCB's panch witness in Cordelia cruise drug case, Prabhakar Sail died yesterday. As per his lawyer Tushar Khandare, he died of a heart attack at his residence in the Mahul area of Chembur yesterday."

Sail who claimed to be the bodyguard of NCB witness KP Gosavi, had alleged in an affidavit that he had heard Mr Gosavi discuss a ₹ 25 crore pay-off deal after Aryan Khan was arrested during a raid on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast on October 3 last year.

The Narcotics Control Bureau had told the court that Sail had turned hostile and his affidavit was still pending before the court.
